Canadian oil company to invest in Algeria

A Canadian oil company will sign a deal with an Algerian company to invest in natural gas in southeastern Algeria, the Canada International Radio reported on Monday.
The radio report quoted officials in the Petro-Canada company as saying they were negotiating a deal with the Algerian Sonatrach company. An agreement will be signed at the end December or at the start of the year 2000.
