Sudanese president to meet El-Sadek El-Mahdi tomorrow in Addis Ababa

A Sudanese opposition source in Cairo stated that the former Sudanese prime minister and head of the opposition Ummah Party, El-Sadek El-Mahdi, will head today to Addis Ababa to meet with Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir tomorrow in the framework of Ethiopia's efforts for reconciliation between the government and the Ummah Party, saying that in case of the success of the meeting an official statement will be issued to declare the coming steps and arrangements for El-Mahdi's return to the country.

Sources in the Ummah Party stated that El-Sadek El-Mahdi will meet during his visit to Ethiopia with Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi and Foreign Minister Seyoum Mesfin to discuss the issues concerning Sudan.

Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir headed on Thursday to Addis Ababa for an official visit.
