Film about Jerusalem being produced with UAE financing
Regional-Palestine, Politics, 11/20/1999

The Arab committee concerned with producing a television film about Jerusalem convened yesterday at Arab League headquarters to work to produce a documentary film that shows the rights of the Palestinian Arab people in the city.

The committee includes Egypt, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Palestine and Saudi Arabia.

Mohammed Solaih, Palestine's permanent delegate at the Arab League, stated that the committee decided to produce this film, as the UAE expressed its readiness to finance it as soon as possible.

Solaih said the committee studied in its meeting yesterday forming a high-class technical committee from the Palestinian Information Ministry to prepare the content as well as the means of promoting this film to "reach the international public opinion to confirm the Palestinian people's historical rights in that holy city."
