Kuwaiti official urges continuation of peace process in the area

Abd El-Razek El-Hemairi, manager of the cooperation department in the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry, said, "We all as Arabs want peace to devote our all efforts to development to enter the coming century away from war, and we adhere to seeing the area clam and stable, and this will not take place unless one of the main reasons which make us live in this tension (is removed)." This came in press statements on the visit current of a Kuwaiti governmental delegation to Egypt.
Regarding lifting the sanctions from Iraq, the Kuwaiti ambassador said, "We hope to solve the problem because we are not trouble-seekers, and in the Gulf as in general we want peace and stability for all nations of the Arab Gulf as lifting up the sanctions will lead to prosperity."
