United Arab Emirates contracts to purchase 14 French helicopters

The general leadership of the armed forces in the United Arab Emirates said it had contracted to purchase 14 helicopters of Acorel style with the French company Eurocopter to be used for training purposes in the air force.
The UAE news agency said today that the value of the contract reaches nearly $27 million.
Colonel Ebeid El-Kotobi, manager of the general purchasing for the armed forces in the UAE said that the developed vertical helicopters will be used for training purposes.
