WATA organization holds its annual conference in Cairo

The World Association of Travel Agencies organization located in Geneva decided to hold its general association and its annual conference in Cairo on December 1 - 5. Egyptian Tourism Minister Mamdouh El-Beltagi will conclude the conference, said Adel Zaki, head of the organization, adding that the organization includes 100 tourism companies representing 76 countries.
The volume of the organization's members' works reached $4.8 billion during 1997.
