Morocco, Business, 11/18/1999
The American "Azurix" firm is braced to invest in the Moroccan public utilities sector, reported Wednesday the US "Bloomberg" financial information agency.
The Houston-based "Enron Corp" subsidiary is keenly interested in the public service management delegation system launched in Morocco and will compete for water and electricity distribution in one of the major Moroccan cities, the agency said.
The firm vying for a greater share in the world public service market now worth $ 300 billion will be expanding to Morocco, Hungary and Peru.
