Moroccan fisheries minister to visit Angola next week
Morocco-Angola, Politics, 11/18/1999
Moroccan Minister of Fisheries Thami Khyari will visit Angola next week for talks with his Angolan peer, Maria de Fatima Jardim.
An official statement says the three-day visit is part of the promotion of Morocco's relations with African countries in the fisheries sector. As part of this policy, Morocco has signed agreements for cooperation in fisheries with Senegal, Guinea, Cote D'Ivoire, and Gabon.
Morocco hosts the head office of the secretariat general of the ministerial conference on cooperation in fisheries between African countries bordering the Atlantic. Its latest session was held last October in Guinea.
