German justice minister in Amman

Jordanian viceroy Raad Bin Zeid on Wednesday in Amman met with the German minister of Justice in Amman. Talks dealt with bilateral relations between Germany and Jordan and prospects of promoting and developing them.
Earlier in the day, Jordanian Minister of Information Ayman al-Majali and Justice Minister Hamzeh Haddad received the German minister and discussed with her matters of concern to the two countries.
Meanwhile, acting Jordanian Prime Minister Marwan al-Hamoud reviewed with the German minister of justice during their meeting on Wednesday in Amman "bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields especially in legal and justice fields."
Meanwhile, the governments of Jordan and Germany had signed the minutes of their preliminary meetings to discuss the technical and capital aid to be provided by Germany to Jordan for the year 2000 and projects proposed for financing from this aid.
The minutes of meeting were signed by the secretary general of the Jordanian Ministry of Planning, Jamal Mallah, and the German side was represented by the director of the Middle East region, Turkey and regional cooperation at the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation.
