Emirates company to build oil tanker port in Indonesia

Emirate Petroleum Group of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) intends to build an oil tanker port in the Sabang Integrated Economic Development Zone in Indonesia's Weh island.
Indonesian news agency Antara reports that the port will be a transit point for the sale of crude from the Middle East to Asia.
The director of the zone's management board, said
Tuesday said he would leave for the Middle East country later this month to follow up on the oil company's project.
The UAE company considered Sabang as very strategically located place to serve the main market of Middle East crude in East Asia, particularly countries like Singapore and Japan, he said.
