Moroccan artist's paintings destroyed in arson in France

Over one hundred paintings by Moroccan artist Mehdi Qotbi were burnt Sunday in a criminal arson, the France-based artist told MAP. The 110 paintings were on display in a hotel in the French city of Lyon.
The artist said the priceless paintings were the fruit of 25 years of work. Qotbi was planning to exhibit his paintings in Japan.
