Algerian president congratulates Moroccan king on independence day
Algeria-Morocco, Politics, 11/17/1999
Algerian president Abdelaziz Bouteflika has sent king Mohammed VI a congratulations message on Morocco's independence day commemorated on November 18. "It is a happy opportunity in this blessed month when the Algerian people celebrates the anniversary of its glorious liberation war to recall the close links existing between our two brother countries and the sacrifices they have made all along the joint struggle for independence, dignity and freedom," Bouteflika wrote.
The Algerian president also paid tribute to the late Kings Mohammed V and Hassan II, grandfather and father of the sovereign, for being among those who honored their commitment before God in the national struggle for the glory and dignity of the Moroccan brotherly people, MAP reported.
