Some 15 percent of Jordanians are diabetics

The Diabetics Disease Friends Society in Jordan has warned that this disease is affecting one third of the country's population, a matter which requires the implementation of urgent programs to avoid risks from this disease. In an earlier statement, Jordanian Minister of Health Yitzhak al-Maraka said that the rate of Jordanians who have this disease is 15% among the population.
In a statement on the occasion of celebrating the world day for fighting diabetes, the Jordanian minister called for adherence to preventive measures, SANA reported.
