President Mubarak meets with Saudi Foreign Minister

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak met on Tuesday with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal who is visiting Egypt.
President Mubarak was given a message by Prince Saud al-Faisal from King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz. The meeting held between Mubarak and Prince Saud was attended by Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa. The meeting was made at the conclusion of the meetings of the Egyptian- Saudi higher committee, chaired by the foreign ministers of the two countries.
The Saudi minister expressed satisfaction over what had been achieved during the meetings of the committee as mechanisms to execute projects in bilateral cooperation fields were approved.
Prince Saud denied the existence of any Saudi initiative concerning Sudan and voiced his country's backing for the Egyptian-Libyan initiative for reconciliation in Sudan.
Prince Saud reiterated his country's stand in calling for freeing the country from nuclear weapons.
