Saudi - Egyptian committee meeting concludes in Cairo

Egypt and Saudi Arabia agreed on the importance of making haste in signing an agreement to establishing the planned free trade zone between the two states and on the importance of increasing the exports of each of them.

In the concluding statement of the 9th joint supreme committee between the two states, which concluded its works tonight - the two sides expressed in the statement their relief for the existing cooperation between the two states in the informational, educational, scientific and cultural fields.

Meanwhile, the two sides studied the peace process in the Middle East, confirming that a permanent peace must be just and comprehensive, depending on the complete commitment to all principles and legitimacy, especially Security Council resolutions 242, 338 and 425 and the land-for-peace principle as well as all the pledges and the signed agreements between the concerned parties.
