Starting meetings of the Egyptian - Turkish business council

Egyptian Minister of Economy Yousef Butros Ghali is opening today the meetings of the Turkish - Egyptian business council which are being held in the headquarters of the Egyptian Businessmen's Association and in which a Turkish delegation comprising officials from the trade and foreign ministries and more than 40 Turkish businessmen working in industry, tourism and trade are participating.
Taher El-Sherif the secretary general of the Egyptian Business Council, which organized the visit, said that Egyptian - Turkish cooperation will be discussed during the meetings.
Egypt helps Turkey enter into the markets of the African COMESA countries through establishing Turkish projects in Egypt that could enter COMESA markets with the exemptions and privileges that Egypt enjoys after singing the COMESA agreement, on the condition that the Turkish businesses help Egypt enter into Asian and Russian Commonwealth markets.
