El-Bashir: Relations with Egypt are strategic, Libyan - Egyptian initiative able to solve Sudanese problem

Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir depicted Egyptian - Sudanese relations as strategic, saying they started to return to normal as they used to be, adding that the Libyan - Egyptian initiative is able to tackle the Sudanese issue as its solution is based on direct discussions. Meanwhile, the Sudanese ambassador in Cairo, Ahmed Abd El-Halim, said in statements to Om Dorman that the anticipated visit of president El-Bashir to Cairo was agreed upon and that communications are currently being made to determine its date.
