Hicham El Guerrouj nominated for best athlete of the year

A list bearing the names of ten candidates for the best male athlete of the year, including the name of Hicham El Guerrouj, 1,500m world champion and five world records holder, will be released November 21 in Monaco.
A similar list for the women's title will also be released.
