King Mohammed hands King Hassan II golf trophies
Morocco, Sports, 11/15/1999
King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Prince Moulay Rachid and Princess Lalla Meryem, handed Sunday prizes and presents to winners of the 28th Hassan II Golf Trophy competitions at the prestigious Rabat Dar Essalam complex.
The Trophy winner David Toms and pro-am winning team Galvan Carlos, Smith Sandy and Joe Cassidy were greeted by the king who handed them this year's prizes and Moroccan presents.
In women competitions, Laura Fairclough won the Lalla Meryem Cup and the women pro-am title was ravished by trio made up of Raja Hasnaoui, Sheila Joseph and Judy Keener.
This year's edition was a special one commemorating the memory of the trophy founder, the late King Hassan II who passed away in July.
