Moroccan king condoles Turkish president and sends assistance

King Mohammed VI has sent a message of condolences to Turkish president Souleyman Demirel and gave his instructions for the dispatching of a humanitarian assistance and a rescue team to quake-hit Turkey. The new earthquake jolted northwestern Turkey, where at least 232 persons were killed and 2,657 were wounded by a quake of a 7.2 magnitude on the Richter scale. Morocco has sent a cargo of drugs, tents and blankets and a medical team to Turkey.
