First Saudi exposition in Iran

The first Saudi trade exposition in Iran was opened in Tehran on Sunday, and it will last for six days.
Iranian Minister of Commerce Muhammad Sharait-Madari and the Saudi secretary in charge of the Foreign Trade Ministry, Abdullah al-Hammoudi, expressed their satisfaction over this initiative, which is the first of its kind.
The exposition received business visitors in its first day. Some 200 Saudi businessmen representing 75 companies are taking part in the exposition. The participants in the exposition represent the sectors of foodstuffs, chemistry, petrochemicals, aluminum, furniture, electricity, paper and textiles.
During the three past years Iran organized three similar expositions in Saudi Arabia.
