New projects licensed by the Syrian investment council at 370 million Syrian pounds

The Syrian Higher Investment Council has, in its recent session, agreed to include five joint investment projects for Syrian, Arab and foreign investors at a value of 370 million Syrian pounds (US $7 million).
These projects are concentrated in the Syrian-Algerian project to manufacture metallic parts at a cost of 125 million SP, the Saudi project for textiles and spinning at 107 million Syrian pounds, the Syrian-Turkish project for producing black metal pipes at a cost of 105 million SP and the joint Syrian-Swiss project to produce electrical equipment at the communication stations at a cost of 28 million SP.
Moreover, the Higher Investment Council also agreed to include a project for fodder production and breeding cows for Saudi investors at a value of 4.5 million Syrian pounds.
