Kuwaiti minister to visit Egypt to insure best condition for expatriates

Kuwaiti Minister of Labor Abd al-Wahab Muhammad al-Wazan will arrive in Cairo during this week in a visit to Egypt, during which he will hold discussions that tackle the Egyptian laborers' situation in Kuwait and finding a new style for cooperation between the two states in employing Egyptian laborers in Kuwait through making sure of the existence of job opportunities for them, a press statement from the Kuwaiti embassy in Cairo said.

Meanwhile, Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid received yesterday a report from Egyptian Minister of Manpower and Immigration Ahmed El-Amawi after his return from Kuwait, in which assured the support from the Kuwaiti crown prince, people and government to the Egyptian citizens there, saying that they enjoy a good reputation.

Ebeid stated that the volume of Egyptian laborers in Kuwait reaches 300,000.
