Tourism and economic agreements between Iraq and Iran

Iran and Iraq signed tourism and economic agreements for the occasion of the visit of Iranian Trade Minister Mohammed Sheria Madari to Baghdad.
Iraqi Trade Minister Mohammed Mahdi Saleh stated that there is an Iraqi and Iranian trend toward establishing expanded economic and commercial relations, adding that the agreement tackles bilateral cooperation in food, medicine, agricultural products and transportation.
Saleh said, "The tourism agreement between the two countries aims at encouraging the Iraqi and Iranian tourists to visit Shiite holy sites in both countries."
