Kuwait paid its share of Arab League budget

Kuwait has paid its last share in the Arab League's budget for 1999. This last share totaled $767 thousand, as it previously paid in three installments $3 million US -- 13.7% of the Arab League's budget for 1999, which was nearly $27.6 million.
The director for financial and administrative affairs in the league said that the payments of the AL member states of their shares of the budget for this year reached 67% till now, clarifying that 17 Arab states have paid their shares, either fully or partially.
Five countries have not paid their shares in the budget: Iraq, Somalia, Djibouti, Mauritania and the Comoros Islands.
