Bashar al-Assad arrives in UAE

Bashar al-Assad, son of Syrian President Hafez al-Assad, arrived in Abu Dhabi on Friday. At the airport he was welcomed by UAE Minister of Information Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed al-Nahyan and officials concerned. The UAE news agency reported that al-Assad will hold talks with senior officials in the UAE dealing with bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern.
