Egyptian film wins the gold prize of Damascus cinema festival

The Egyptian film "Paradise of Devil" won the prize for best film in the 11th session of the Damascus International Cinema Festival, which concluded yesterday in the Syrian capital and which is specified for countries of Asia, Africa and South America.
The film is taken from the story a "man who died twice" by Brazilian George Amado. The arbitration committee was headed by Chinese director Howang Bin Kim as 18 films from 16 countries participated in the long films competition and 15 short films were presented from 13 countries.
