First Arab festival for children's theater in Tunis ends

The first Arab festival for children's theater, which started its works on last Monday, will conclude in Tunis tonight under the slogan "The school in the theater's shadows."
The program of the festival, which is supported by the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (located in Tunisia), comprised 22 theatrical works from 11 countries, among which are Egypt, Palestine, Morocco, Lebanon, Syria, Algeria, Iraq, Sweden, Canada and Tunis.
The dramas were presented among which are shows for the students and that were open for general audience attendance.
Besides the theatrical shows, an intellectual symposium was held for two days, whose subject was "Toward and an Arab strategy to develop to childhood's theater."
The festival hosted Syrian artist Doraid Laham, the UNICEF's ambassador for childhood care for the Middle East and the Arab Maghreb.
The festival of the arbitration committee is comprised of seven children that will grant prizes to the best three theatrical works.
