Three Saudis get 5 to 20 years in jail for drug trafficking

Five Saudi nationals were sentenced to jail terms of 5 to 20 years, after being convicted of drug trafficking by a Casablanca court, a Moroccan daily reported.
The Saudi nationals, whose names were not disclosed, will also pay fines of $1,800 each.
They were arrested in 1998 when the Moroccan authorities dismantled a drug trafficking and money forging web, that was operating between Morocco and Saudi Arabia. Some 100 blocks of cannabis and some 47 bank notes of 100 us dollars were seized during the operation.
