Iraqi discussions with international companies to prepare civil aviation

Rabea Saleh, manager of the Iraqi airline company, revealed yesterday that there are current discussions with international companies to prepare Iraqi civil airplanes to work at lifting the international sanctions imposed on Iraq.

The Iraqi official said, "Advanced stages of prepartion for some airplanes have been reached" adding that the Iraqi airplanes need extra technical examinations after the lifting of the sanctions because the planes have not been operational for a long time.

On the other hand, Iraqi Vice President Taha Yassin Ramdan urged Iran to end the issue of the Iraqi captives who are still detained in Iran due to issue that have humanitarian, legal and international dimensions.
