Iraq and Yugoslavia agree to develop bilateral cooperation
Iraq-Yugoslavia, Politics, 11/10/1999
Iraq and Yugoslavia agreed to develop bilateral cooperation in different fields.
Iraqi Vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan stated when he received Yugoslavian Deputy Prime Minister Maja Gojkovic yesterday that his country's support for Yugoslavia is out of Iraq's refusal to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, adding that one US goal is to weaken and terrify countries to dominate them.
The Yugoslav official criticized the US policy, saying that her country will continue defending its sovereignty and destiny no matter the costs.
The Yugoslavian deputy prime minister is currently visiting Baghdad to attend the current general conference of Iraq's women's union.
