Israeli forces storm several houses in the Golan
Syria-Israel, Politics, 11/10/1999
The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday stormed several houses in Baqata town in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights and arrested many young Syrian men there.
Israeli military sources, according to Israel Radio on Tuesday, accused these arrested youths of preparing locally-made bombs in order to be used as a form of resistance against the Israelis.
Meanwhile, an Israeli military source said the blast which went off on Monday in Baqata town in the Golan and resulted in wounding five Syrian children was the result of an anti-personnel landmine left by the occupation forces in the town.
