Jordan waits result of investigations over the attack by settlers on parliamentary delegation
Jordan-Israel, Politics, 11/10/1999

The Jordanian ambassador to Israel, Omar al-Refa has announced that his country is still waiting for the results of investigations made by Israel into the attack carried out by a group of Israeli settlers against a Jordanian parliamentary delegation while the delegation was visiting the al-Ibraheimi mosque in Hebron, two months ago.

The Jordanian ambassador has expressed before a session of the Israeli Knesset, which was dedicated on Tuesday to discussing the attack, his hope in that such acts will not be repeated.

Several Israeli Knesset members from extremist Israeli parties protested against the discussion of the attack by the committee, Israel Radio reported.
