Berri denies report US ambassador slept one night at his home in Tabnin

The press office for the speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, said on Tuesday that a report published on Tuesday on the front page of the Lebanese daily al-Nahar that the US ambassador to Lebanon, David Satterfield, had spent Monday night in Berri's house in Tabnin in south Lebanon are groundless. The office added that Berri knew about Satterfield's visit only from al-Nahar.
