Celebrating delivering Sultan Qaboos prize for the environment

The United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) celebrated yesterday the delivery of the general manager of the Charles Darwin Corporation sponsoring the natural protectorate of the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador the $20,000 prize of sultan Qaboos Bin Said of Oman for the environment which is granted every two years on the occasion of convening the general conference of the international organization. The Charles Darwin Corporation protects the rare animals and plants on this natural protectorate.
This is the fifth time the Sultan Qaboos prize for the environment has been granted, sponsored by UNESCO, since it was established in the framework of Sultan Qaboos' concern for causes of maintaining the environment and combating pollution.
