Algerian projects wait for World Bank loans worth $730 million

Official sources in the Algerian Ministry of Finance said yesterday that a cooperation program between Algeria and the World Bank is currently being prepared to finance development projects, saying that these projects are focused on the housing, irrigation and agriculture sectors. The sources said that cooperation between Algeria and the World Bank is limited to nine loans for projects that are implemented at a cost of $730 million, clarifying that $200 million of the total sum were specified for some projects.
