French Foreign Minister due to visit Egypt on Friday

French Foreign Minister Hubert Vedrine is to arrive on Friday in Cairo from Beirut for a two-day official visit, heading an official delegation at the conclusion of his tour of Syria and Lebanon. Diplomatic sources in the French embassy in Cairo said Vedrine will meet during his visit with Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa to discuss regional and international topics of joint concern, the future of peace in the area and the development of the situation in Iraq.
