Egyptian complaint against Israeli television

The Egyptian cinema industry chamber presented a complaint today to the producers' international union against Israeli television, which broadcasts Egyptian films without obtaining the right to use it from Egyptian distributors and producers who refuse to deal with Israel.
Moneeb Shafi, the head of the chamber, believes that the Israeli television stole 1,700 Egyptian films through the past 20 years.
Shafi urged the producers' international union (located in Paris) to impose sanctions on Israeli television and stop it from broadcasting the Egyptian films.
