Egyptian companies dominate 90% of Gitex '99 sales

The Egyptian companies participating in Dubai fair for data technology, Gitex 99, accounted for nearly 90% of volume of the displayed programs in the fair or those sold in the computer market held on margin of the fair.
A press statement by the Egyptian association of computer companies said the Egyptian wing inlcuded the most modern programs and tools for developing the Internet, as well as offers to make contracts for commercial agencies among the Egyptian and the Arab companies, implementing projects, and developing and using the programs and computer equipment in corporations especially in the fields of trade, economy, marketing and administration.
