Jordan negotiates with Spain to reduce debts

Jordanian sources stated today that the Spanish government will respond to the problem of the Jordanian debts to Spain, which are $110 million, through debt conversion to facilities to purchase industrial and commercial materials from Spain or to finance projects in Jordan through Spanish companies and to exempt Jordan from part of these debts. The sources added that an agreement was signed to renew a loan worth $55 million with easy interest to finance projects implemented by Spain in Jordan during the next two years.
