Gaddafi gets a phone call from Bouteflika
Libya-Algeria-Guinea, Politics, 11/5/1999

Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi on Thursday received a telephone call from Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika where consultations covered matters of bilateral concern.

Gaddafi also received a written message from president of the Republic of Guinea. No information was disclosed on the content of the message.

Meanwhile, the African ministers of information who are currently holding their conference in Tripoli, Libya, set up the conference's 19th session bureau commission.

As a result of election, Libya has become the head of the current session, while Congo, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Algeria, and Malawi became vice presidents for the session.
