Two British naval ships to visit Lattakia next week

The two British Royal naval ships will visit the coastal city of Lattakia on November 9 - 12. This is the second visit by British ships to Lattakia in 48 years, following the successful visit made by two ships from the British naval force to Lattakia in July 1998.
The captain of the ship Edinburgh, Commander Simon Kings, will hold a press briefing on the visit for the representatives of the press at 4 p.m. on November 9, while the two ships will receive the visitors on November 10 and 11 from 2 to 5 p.m..
On this occasion, the trade section at the British embassy in Damascus will organize an exposition for catalogues at Lattakia's Chamber of commerce and Industry on November 8 - 11, in which some 59 British companies new to the Syrian marker are taking part.
