Foreign minister of Malawi visits Egypt

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa is holding talks in the Foreign Ministry's headquarters with Brown Mpinganjira, minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation in Malawi, who is arriving in Cairo for a two-day visit to Egypt coming from Libya.

The discussion session will tackle means of boosting relations between Egypt and Malawi, especially in the economic and commercial fields, to reach the level of the distinguished political relations between the two countries. Talks will also address the most important political causes of joint concern, topped by African issues and the situation in the African south.

At the end of the discussion session an agreement will be signed to establish a supreme joint committee headed by the two countries' foreign ministers to hold meetings periodically in the two countries' capitals to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation and encouraging commercial exchange.
