Continued attacks against Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday continued their attacks against areas in occupied parts of south Lebanon and the western Bekaa. The occupation forces bombarded several villages adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon. The Lebanese resistance retaliated by attacking the joint Israeli - South Lebanon Army militia positions, and direct hits were achieved as a result.

Moreover the Israeli military bombardment resulted in a large fire in the woods of al-Leizeh, Jarjou and al-Tasse spring course in al-Tuffah district.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli bombardment coincided with intensive flights by Israeli warplanes at low altitude over the al-Tuffah district, al-Nabatiyah and Sidon carrying out mock and provocative raids.

Earlier in the day, the Israeli artillery bombarded the woods of Sujoud al-Rayhan, Aqmata plain, Habboush outskirts and al-Zahrani river course in al-Tuffah district.

Further news reports from south Lebanon said that the Israeli forces and their agents started to dismantle the Mutalath (triangle) of Kafer Houneh crossing in order to use a more secure crossing after they have become unable to ensure protection for the occupants of the position from the attacks of the Lebanese resistance.
