Sudanese president to visit Egypt before year's end

The secretary general of the people's general committee for foreign contacts and international cooperation (foreign minister), Omar al-Muntasir, met on Tuesday in Tripoli with Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Othman Ismael.
The two ministers discussed conditions in Africa, especially the implementation of the Syrte declaration released by the African leaders proclaiming the announcement of an African federation.
Means of boosting bilateral relations between the two states for common interests were also reviewed.
Othman Ismael said in a press conference yesterday that his country adheres to terms of the Libyan - Egyptian reconciliation initiative, adding that Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir will visit Egypt before the end of the current year to discuss Sudanese - Egyptian relations and regional and international causes of joint concern.
