Badran publishing house owner brought before the court

Owner of Badran printing house, Charles Badran was brought before investigators in Beirut because of the publications released by his printing house and including Hebrew names for Arab Palestinian sites, cities and areas.
Among these publications are geographical and school atlases and printings for adults including maps bearing Hebrew names in the Arabic language like Ehuda and al-Samera.
Following an investigation into Badran, he was released after he pledged to remove every page of this atlas containing the Hebrew names.
Lebanese President Emile Lahoud and Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss paid this matter all interest.
