Arab agricultural experts in Amman

Several Arab experts and scientists from Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Palestine will pay on November 6 and 7 a scientific visit to Jordan with the aim of meeting with their Jordanian counterparts in the areas of water resource use guidance, the exchange of experience and knowledge among Arab scientists who have the same interest in water resources issues and benefits from successful experiments in this regard in certain Arab states.
The chairman of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) in Amman, Salem al-Louzi, said in a statement that Arab experts will meet with their Jordanian counterparts to discuss several problems hindering irrigated agricultural projects in Jordan and to exchange views concerning them to reach common solutions for debated matters.
An intensive program was laid for the visit of the Arab experts to Jordan. The program includes visits to the Jordanian national center for agricultural research and technology transfer, the directorate for monitoring irrigation water in the Jordan Valley Authority, the irrigation development project in al-Aghwar area and other irrigation projects in al-Desei and al-Mudawara areas.
