Algeria against normalization with Israel before withdrawal from Arab lands

Algeria has reiterated its position opposing normalization with Israel as long as the Golan is occupied, Israel has not unconditionally withdrawn from south Lebanon and the Palestinians have not established their own independent state on their own native soil. A well-informed Algerian source said in a statement to the Algerian News Agency on Monday that any "suspicion" toward the clear Algerian stand comes from sources which "know nothing about the Algerian policy which gave priority to defending principles before interests."
