Jordanian premier confers with US official

Jordanian Prime Minister Abdul Raouf al-Rawabdeh on Monday met with US Undersecretary of State for Military Affairs Robert Bikroft. Bilateral relations between the two countries in several areas, especially the question of dismantling landmines from the region, were reviewed.
Talks also centered on the mission of the US official on following up on several issues in this respect and the possibility of giving backing to Jordan.
