Iraqi opposition meetings in northern Iraq

Sources in the Iraqi opposition in Cairo stated today that delegations from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan under the chairmanship of Jalal Talebani and the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq headed by Mohammed Baker El-Hakim will visit Damascus within days to arrange for a meeting for the Iraqi opposition in Soleimania city in northern Iraq in the coming days.
The same sources added that Iranian intelligence officials who are following up on the Iraqi file visited Damascus recently and met with some parts of the Iraqi opposition to learn their stances toward the US efforts to topple Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
